Bon Bon Bouye
Project Brief
Bon Bon Bouye is a collaborative marketing project with Montana State University Food Product Development Lab. The project's objective is to promote and support Senegalese women farmers.
Results
The final deliverables include brand identity and package design for two products: the Bonbon Bouye peanut bar and Bao-Sorgho yogurt. Drawing from the Baobab tree's cultural significance and Senegalese women's fashion, I designed a logo featuring the Baobab fruit. By integrating its distinctive visual qualities into the logo and creating complementary packaging patterns, I captured the essence of both influences in a cohesive and visually appealing manner. This approach pays homage to the Baobab tree and incorporates elements of Senegalese fashion, resulting in a unique and culturally resonant brand identity.
These innovations aim to empower households to boost their incomes while enhancing the nutritional landscape of their communities.
